Gunter, would you have any information for Friederich Meyer from Kastorf? I am looking for information about this father shown as Heinrich Meyer from Kastorf and his mother Maria Meyer from Kasdorf (not Kastorf) and Meyer was her maiden name as well. Friederich was also called Fritz Meier the older the church records were. His grave is here:

I found where he was in the military and that he traveled back and forth from America to Germany from 1858 to 1870.
I can't find ANY information about his father and mother and have looked for FIFTEEN YEARS and it is MADDENING. I have collected an bundance of obituaries, have read an abundance of books, have made an abundance of inquiries....AND NOTHING.
