Translation help needed German to English

Dear Niederschlesien List,

Could someone please translate this for me? It seems to be an obituary, but I'm having trouble. I've retyped it from a newspaper clipping from my great-grandmother. Also, if you can give any other observations or insights, it would be very much appreciated.

Thank you!
