Using the LDS film records for Vistytis, Lithuania, I have been able to
trace my German ancestors back to 1854. My problem now is that there are no
film records preceding this timeframe. Are there any records/books
available which contain the names of the Germans who migrated to Lithuania
in the 16th and 17th centuries? I am trying to trace my Dukstein/Duckstein
family back into Germany, but can not get past this brick wall. Any
guidance would be greatly appreciated.
