I've been subscribed to this list for quite a while. When I post a
query, I always receive an answer in English and the people who subscribe to this
list are great at helping! Please realize that all of us can read our
surnames in any language! If you stick with the list, you will be amazed at how you
soon will be able to understand some of the German queries. Since I have
cousins in Germany, this helps me immensely! Who wouldn't want to learn another
language absolutely free! Once in a while, I'm able to take the words I've
learned and post a query in German. I'm sure it's not absolutely correct but no
one has complained and I'm sure my effort is appreciated. Good luck with your
