I forgot if I ever told you I stumbled upon short biography about a John Meyer who married a Sophia Luhman. The book is titled: Valley of the Upper Maumee River Vol. 1, published 1889, in Madison Wisconsin. Includes accout Allen county Indiana and the city of Fort Wayne.
The locality mentioned for the Meyer/Luhman couple is St. Joseph Township.
