Angehörigen gesucht, und meine Namen passen leider nicht. Wer hier Angaben -

weiterzugeben.

The information I have on the Timmermans is
as follows. Christian Friedrick TIMMERMAN was born in 1802 in Prussia.
His wife was Anna Maria NIERSTE born in 1811 in Prussia. My husband
great grandfather was Fredrick TIMMERMAN and I think listed once in
records in US as Christian Fredrick born in 1837 in Prussia. We believe
it to be his brother Christian TIMMERMAN born in 1839 that lists his
birthplace as Oberbauerschaft Prussia.
My problem seems to be the
huge amount of Timmermans that came to Des Moines Co., Iowa with so many
of the same given names. We think my husbands great grandfather Fred
came from Oberbauerschaft but, until we find some records are not sure.
I wrote to one Lutheran church in Oberbauerschaft but, the reply didn't
have any info for me. The nice lady at the church that wrote back was
going to check with a church in Lubbeck. Do you have any ideas on where
I could write to see if there is any christening records for this Fred
that would show the parents so I could see if they match up with
others? I think that is the only way we are going to find out who is
who back here.
