that is no easy task you took over. To make it easier for you, this message in English.
I found about 2400 TIMMERMANN and additional 200 TIMMERMANNS with an S at the end. MEYER without a given place is just impossible to research. There is a slight chance, if your TIMMERMAN did loose the second N of ..MANN already in Germany and not as usual lateron in the United States. There are few seven TIMMERMAN in 47226 Duisburg (3) and nearby Düsseldorf (1),Adelshoven (1) and Gronau (1) and a company TIMMERMAN & GERBER GmbH in 85250 Altomünster (1), all in 1998. But maybe also, these are Americans who settled back. Perhaps it is worthwhile a trial. If not suiting, the advices Mr.Schröder gave, would be the ones I would join.
