Greetings to the list. I am looking for a Theodor Balzar or Baltzar b Feb 1844 in Oldenburg. Immigrated to New York City in 1870 or 1871. In 1871, he marries Gesine C Behrens, b Nov 1847, also in Oldenburg. I have not seen him on the Auswanderer list, but perhaps the spelling of the last name is altered? If anyone knows his place of birth and parents? I believe his father was Christolph Balzar?
Any help would be gratefully received.
