Theisman, Drees and Schonhoff

Thank you for all the replies of help and information. Most of the people I am looking for came from the Gersten area. I believe they were all Catholic. The information I have is somewhat sketchy. What I do have is:

Bernard Drees --- Born: ? (My gr.gr.grandfather)
Maria Theresia Schonhoff --- Born: ? (My gr.gr.grandmother)

Their children that are known:
Bernard Jr--- Born: Sept 22,1871 to Died: March 27, 1966 Lingen
Benedict--- Born: Nov. 29, 1873 Died in Wabasha, Mn.
August--- Born: Feb. 5, 1876 Died in Wabasha, Mn.

Bernard Drees Jr. was my gr.grandfather he married Christine Theisman --- I only know she died approx. 1904 after she had 5 children. None of my relatives know anything of her other than she died soon after my grandmother Johanna was born. What they thought is that she was also from Gersten. Not sure.

Any information on Christine Theisman, Bernard Drees Jr. and Sr. and also Maria Theresia Schonhoff would be appreciated.

The emigration book of the former "Landkreis Lingen" listed this:

Bernhardt Drees, born 20.Feb.1870 in Handrup, parish Lengerich
emigrated 1892 to Wabasha Mines.
Parents: Heuermann Benedict Drees and Maria Carolina Römer
(1874 three other siblings to Minnesota)

Clemens August Drees, born 5.Febr.1876 in Gersten, parish Lengerich
emigrated 1892 to Wabasha Mines,
married 22.Apr.1913 in Wabasha to Elisabeth Koelker

There some more other Drees people.

Maria Teresia Schonhoff, born 22.Sep.1850 in Gersten, emigrated 1871

Maria Teresia Schonhoff, born 12.Jul.1862 in Gersten, emigrated 1871

Anna Christina Teismann, born 15.Jun.1845 in Messingen, parish Messingen
emigrated to Cincinnati, no year is given
parents: Johann Gerrard Teismann and Maria Catharina Kölker

I hope it helps,
