Hello, already a long time trying to find the origin of my ancestors who settled in Banat.
My great-grandfather Shcandi Andreas and his wife Julliana Rest moved into the vicinity of Zrenjanin, Banat, Serbia.
According to my knowledge SCHANDI family and REST family lived in Alsace in the vicinity Ribeauvila and Ostheim so I assume that they came from those regions.
Please if you can make any document to confirm my statements. Is there a list where I can find families that settled from Alsace to Banat and if among them there are family SCHANDI.
