The Hemesath Family

Hello Brian,

the name "Hemesath" occurs in Melle. I don't have any further information on
this family.
"Asenbrud" could this mean "Osnabrück" if they spoke plattdeutsch they would
have said "Ossenbrügge" or so.
"Glenna" could be "Glane" a village near Osnabrück/Iburg.

Hi Brian,

but there`s only ONE Hemesath (phone-nr) living today in Melle:
Frieda Hemesath
Henri Dunant Str. 1
49324 Melle
49-(0)5422-43710

I have no idea if there have been more in older times...

My, my - only Brigitte could figure this out. It's a great phonetic
spelling of the non-german speaking writer. Osnbrück can be a real
tongue twister for such people.

In an old letter I saw Oustuabrick as Onsabrck...
Seems to be a real tongue twister: Fred you forgot the 'a'
