Dear Friends,
In July, several of you helped me locate Neuerkerode, the home in which my
young cousin had lived for a few years until her death in 1955. As a result
of your help, and the kindness of the staff at Neuerkerode, her burial site
and her beautiful grave marker, have been located.
Words fail to portray the healing powers of your kindness for my family in
America. By way of background, my cousin was not permitted to immigrate to
the United States with her family in 1952 because of her handicaps. Knowing
that she was tended lovingly and buried with dignity heals many wounds and
brings great comfort.
So, please accept my thanks on behalf of a grateful family.
Marion
