Can anyone help me trace a family back into Germany from the UK.
His name was CORDT HEINRICH TEAVES (poss variations,TEAVS, TEVES, TEVS)
He used Cort Henry Teaves in the uk.
Cordt was born in Hannover in 1824 and came to England prior to 1853 when he
married Sarah Lang in London.
I beleive his father may have been called Heinrich.
This is all I have to go on Im afraid! Any help at all would be great I am
doing the search for his 78 year old grandson! Who would be delighted to
find his roots.
