My ancestors - allthough back in 1755 comes from Elbing - is everything
spoild - or is it possible to view some of the old Elbing - if a go there ?
No, not everything is spoiled, but the most parts of the old town.
Nevertheless, if you want to visit Elbing you can do it and you can see
some of the old churches and some interesting rebuilt buildings. If you

Is there any arcives in the town today ?
Yes, the city archive. But almost all not destroyed documents are stored
in the Danzig state archive.
