Hi
I am researching a Mueller line that has taken me to the region of Meiningen
and now northward. I am starting to search 1805 and earlier.
I am also researching Hinrich Freese born in Hannover region abt 1795.

Sandi

I have some Mueller's in Ostfriesland and my g grandmother talked about
Freese's in her letters. She was also from Ostfriesland but was living in
Wilhelmshaven when she died.

Hello, Bonita

Hans Friderich Meyer married Margarethe Mackenthun(s) (spelling seems to be
correct !) in Meinerdingen (between Walsrode and Fallingbostel, not Kreis
Uelzen but not far away) in October 1747 (no exact date available)! They had
at least three children.
Any connections?

Greetings from Germany (Hesse)

Hallo Franz:

Below is my Makenthun(?) line. It is very short. It looks as though I am a
generation before your marriage. I think we should pursue this further as
it looks very interesting.

Best Wishes ..

Hello:
It is my understanding that older church books are transferred to the
archives and just newer ones are kept at the church. I am interested in the
church books for Rehburg and Schneeren. Can someone tell me the as to what
records are at Rehburg and Schneeren churches and what years are at the
archives? Will the archives answer mail requests and will they photocopy
church books or only an extract? Are the church books on microfilm or hard
copy in the original books.

Thanks
Doug Plowman
