My name is James H. LANDT, born 7 October 1947 in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA and now living in Macungie, Pennsylvania, USA. My grandfather, Matthaeus Heinrich LANDT was born 10 October 1877 in Puttgarden, Fehmarn and died 16 September 1953 in Prospectville, Pennsylvania, USA. He was the son of Peter Heinrich LANDT and Gertrude MÖLLER. Peter was born 6 august 1853 in Putlos bei Oldenburg. Gertrude was born 23 February 1859 in Lemkendorf, Fehmarn. Matthaeus emigrated to the USA about 1883 with his mother, her second husband, Henry HAMEL, and his brother and sister.
