Liebe Listenteilnehmer,
ich sitze fest und brauche etwas Hilfe. Meine Urgroßmutter Justine
Wilhelmine Schirwing (geb. 1876) und ihr Vater Johann Gottfried Schirwing
(geb. 1851) sind beide in Legnitten geboren. Vom LDS sind leider nur
Kirchenbücher bis 1803 verfilmt. Ich habe bereits eine Nachricht an das
Evangelische Zentralarchiv geschickt, doch muß ich dort mehr als 4 Monate auf
Antwort warten. Auch habe ich einen Brief an das Sächsische Staatsarchiv
Leipzig gesandt, aber noch immer keine Antwort erhalten.
Welch andere Möglichkeit habe ich noch herauszufinden, ob es Kirchenbücher ab
1804 existieren, wo und ob diese gefilmt wurden?

already sent Email to the Evangelische Zentralarchiv Berlin, but have to wait
4 months-plus for an answer. Have also sent letter to Sächsische
Staatsarchiv Leipzig, but haven't received an answer.
Would you know of any other possibility I might have to find out whether
church records after 1804 existed, where and whether they've been filmed?
