Durch Kirchenbucheintragungen in Ankum sind belegt
a) die Heirat am 24.04.1795 in Ankum mit Anna Maria (Elisabeth ?)
Bergmann, geb. 17.09.1774,
b) der Tod am 12.06.1836 (61 j�hrig) in Nortrup.
Die Herkunft des Gesuchten k�nnte der Raum um Vechta/Carum/Bakum sein.

Good morning!
Could anyone give me details on a town of Doehlen in Oldenburg or close by? I've been researching ancestors from Doehlen, assuming it was a small town in the east of the nation, near Nurnburg, but I've found a couple born there but married in Grossenkneten, which is of course in Oldenburg. Since this family (Hoefelman) turns up in Columbus, Nebraska, which was settled heavily by folks from the Grossenkneten area it would make sense for Hoefelmans to be from there and not the east.
Does anyone know of this town? Anyone know a thing about the Hoefelmans?

Doehlen (G: D�hlen) is a village in the community of Grossenkneten in the former state of Oldenburg. In the telefon catalog I did not found the name Hoefelmann while there are about
30-40 in Germany.
