I am helping an older gentleman research his family roots.....
Henry Strohmeyer - (c. 1795) m. Charlotte - arrived in US in 23 Oct. 1857
from Hanover
Ernst Strohmeyer - (c. 1826)
Fred Strohmeyer - (c. 1830) - arrived in US 15 Jan 1851, we believe from
Hooksiel, Prussia...
Henry Strohmeyer - (c. 1836) - arrived in US 15 Jan 1851 with his brother.
Louisa Kelfeker - She was to married to Fred in Germany, we believe and
then later to his brother Henry after he passed.... She arrived in June 1853
from the North Sea port of Hooksiel, Wangerland, Germany. This is
verified in the article that was written about the family in the US.
Sophie Strohmeyer - (c. 1837) - arrived in US with parents on 23 Oct. 1857
from Hanover
I cannot find any LDS records for Hooksiel. I am trying to Fredrich
Strohmeyer (c.1830) birth & marriage records and Henry Strohmeyer (c. 1795) birth
& marriage records.
