Dear Hans,
Thank for you looking at my WOLLE family history and commenting and
suggesting new places and names. Dieter Boe supplied that information
from the archives in Uelzen, I believe. So perhaps I can get more
details from him.
My area of searching now concerns the husband(s) of Margarthe Elisabeth
WOLLE, namely Johann Heinrich SCHROEDER and especially Heinrich Christoph
GROBE or RIECKMANN, my great-grandfather He was born GROBE, the
illegitimate son of Christoph Heinrich Rieckmann. Here I can go back
only to 1837.
Thanks, too, for the spelling correction.

If Dieter Boe is your local researcher, you surely have the best one in the
region you can get and surely he will look into old reseraches from Hans OTTO.
From him there exists a collection of family ancestor tables. In my copies of a
copy I found a register with two STEHR families, one from Ebstorf and the other
from Oldendorff II and one of a RIECKMANN family of Wittenwater, what is about 2
km from the railway-station Ebstorf. Already the second generation came from
Stadorf living their documented at least since 1824. Unfortunately just these
both STEHR-family-sheets are among those 8 sheets gone lost through the times
since 1955, when Hans OTTO from Uelzen made this piece of work.

Just some local pride was the reason, another maybe that one wrong letter may
throw you of the right path in times of machines.
If you need the RIECKMANN ancestor table give me mail
Sincerely Hans Peter Albers
