Can anyone suggest someone who might know what companies/regiments of the Hannover army came to Stade (Bremen-Verden) after the Danes gave it up in 1715, and exactly when they arrived? My husband's 6.great-grandfather was recorded in Stade in 1729 but by then all of his 6 children were born. It would be very helpful to know exactly when he arrived in Stade with the Hannover army, to know if it's worth looking anywhere else for birth records.
