Marian,
I went to the sight and I searched through one book at a time. Click where it says abschicken. Then you will come to the second search page. In the center is index. Chose this. Then choose nach personen (person) from the drop down list. It may take a while to load. Then search by the last name. You may have to try several spellings. ----- Original Message -----
Hello -
I appreciate the information regarding the Staatsarchiv materials - alas - I
was not as successful as those that posted to the list over the last two
days. I was wondering, however, if anyone might be working on the surname
Nuenemann (as they spelled here) and Nnemann as I suspect they spelled it
originally.
While I have a lot of information about William Nuenemann in the
Philadelphia area...I have not been able to crack the code as to where he
might be from in Hannover. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
