Hi Gerry, hope this helps your out. Regards, Alija

Hi,
my English is not sufficient enough to answer this mail in English.
If I understood the contents correctly, then the sender visited the Lower
Franconian city of "Bad Brueckenau" in the county of Bad Kissingen.
The city church of "Bad Brueckenau" has the name "Sankt Bartholomaeus". The
church called "Sankt Benedikt" is a branch-church [.. of Sankt Bartholomaeus
...], located in the place named "Roemershag".

For more info, see:

A historical view (from 1848) of place "Roemershag" you can find at:

Place "Roemershag" is today part of the city of "Bad Brueckenau".
There are 2 ways to drive from "Bad Brueckenau" to the highway Nr. A7. Using
the highway entry point "Bad Brueckenau/Volkers", you see on the left side the
mountain "Volkersberg". Located there until 1965, was a "Franziskanerkloster"
(monastery of the order of the Franziskaner). Today the so-called "House V
olkersberg" consists of the following institutions:
- Jugendbildungsstaette der Dioezese Wuerzburg (an educational
Institute for juveniles, maintained by the archbishopric of Wuerzburg)
- Katholische Landesvolkshochschule (an educational Institute,
  maintained by the catholic church)
I assume that >Gerry< has seen this monastery, before he reached the highway.
I hope this is of help.
Regards,
N. Schlereth
