Seeking birth, baptismal, wedding, and/or burial records for Sophie Frisius and Hinrich Hergens. Some members of Frisius family are buried in the graveyard at the church
   
  Also, any information on Hergens family, who lived in Oldenburg 1850-1935 or Frisius family prior to 1850. Hinrich and Sophia's children were: Johann (the oldest) born 1893, Mili, Greta, and Herta.

now I find the time to look after those names.
In Berne I could not find any Hergens, only some Herings. But beside many Freese, Frese, and Friese there are some Frisius:

Henrich Frisius (abt. 1640- abt. 1697) has two children:
- Mette Margrete (1670-) married to Hinrich Fischer
- Bernhard Dietrich (1683-1747) married to Rebecca Thalita Martini
   (1682-1762)
   has a daughter Anna Marie Sophie (1715-) married to Uffe Keller

Bernhard Friedrich Anton Frisius (1764-) married to Friederika Stolting
- Friedrich Ernst (1813-1890) married to Adelheid Auguste Barelmann
- - Johanne Christiane Helene Caroline (1843-1844)
- - Bernhard Friedrich August Wilhelm (1845-)
- - Caroline Magdalene Bernhardine (1846-)
- - Friedrich Georg Heinrich (1848-)

Just to give you an overview. Some dates are more exact, some professions are given. Please let me know wether these individuals are relevant for you.

Bernhard Diederich is related. He is the grandfather of my grandmother, Sophie Frisius Hergens. I believe he was a pastor at St. Aegidius Church. I know my grandfather and grandmother are buried in the cemetery at the church as I have a photograph of my my father, Johann Hergens by the tombstone. I am most anxious to get more dates and events, such as marriages, etc. Whatever information you can give me will be most appreciated, and I look forward to hearing from you. I am not finding much on Hergens family, yet I know many of them lived in Oldenburg during 1800's.
