List,
The spelling of German archival records has me stumped, I have a word that seems to be used consistently in birth records, to me it looks like vofulain, and another looks like gollfeun, if anyone can give me a clue, I would surely appreciate it.
These words appear after a name, such as Margaretha Catharina nm vofulain, Could this be Vogulin?
Another is Michael Lauum _ou gollfeun, could this be Michael Lauer and a masculine word after it.
Thanks for any comments.
I am working with several websites to learn the spelling and writing.
Thanks for your time.
