My records are from the Luthern Church records in archives at Hannover.
Kauke(n) can be spelled either way.
My ancestor Johann Christoph Gieseke of Kolenfeld, married 24 Mar 1818 to
Sophie Louise Wilhelmine Kauken , she being the daughter of deceased
farmer Hans Heinrich Kauke, who lived at Gummer.
Gummer today, belongs to the nearby Dedensen parish it was in earlier
times part of the SEIZE parish. The Seize parish records are preserved
from
1755 onwards.
Since you are knowledgeable about getting these films; Would you mind
checking this out for me.
This is my entire knowledge of this family. I hope together we can dig
