Attempting to find information on the SONNENBERG family in Hannover. Friedrich Ernst Hermann SONNENBERG (born 1828 in Berlin, died 1873 in Hannover) and his wife Maria Susannah WARD (English) (1831-1902) were married 1861 at the Schloss-Kirche, Hannover. Both were employed by the royal household in Hannover and London. They had four children between 1862 and 1871, including Franz Thomas SONNENBERG, born 13 February 1864, bapt. 10 April 1864 at the Schloss-Kirche, Hannover.
Friedrich Ernst Hermann SONNENBERG(1828-1873, see above) was the son of George Ludwig SONNENBERG (born ca. 1784 in Stederdorff, near Wrestedt) who was employed by the Duke of Cumberland in Hannover.
It appears the SONNENBERG family was originally from Stederdorff.
