Siebel & Hinkle

Dear William,

Siebel comes from:

1) Hoofdvorm: SIBBELE (man)

Siebel, Siebele, Sieble, Sybbele, Sybele, Sybelius, Syble, Zibbele, Zible

Schrijfvorm(en): Sebbele, Sebble, Sebelle, Seble, Sibbel, Sibbele, Sibbell,
Sibbile, Sibble, Sibelius, Sibelle, Sible, Sibole, Siebbel, Siebbele, Siebble,
Siebel, Siebele, Sieble, Sybbele, Sybele, Sybelius, Syble, Zibbele, Zible

I do not know what it means though.

'Hinkel' means little/young chicken. May the the same meaning as 'Hinkle'? It is pronounced the same.

May be you could ask the Ost-Friesland group:

Good luck,

Margaret
