Is this the same ship St., Nicholas that you referred to in an
earlier memo that told of a Julius Burgdorf that came to New Orleans
in the 1840's? I was unable to find anything about it except a
reference in the listingsof the Castle Garden site .As I said earlier
there is a remote chance that Julius came to New Orleans in the '40's,
went back to Germany and returned to New Orleans in 1860. Until I
find him I'm keeping all options open.
