Seiferts, gersfeld, batten

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how I can find the parish records for Seiferts, District: Gersfeld and Parish Batten. I looked on the LDS site and it shows Gersfeld, but its seems probate records, etc.

I am looking for the following people in Seiferts:

Charles aka Carl Hohmann born in Germany on 3 Sept 1849
Fridolin Hohmann born in Seiferts, Germany on 2 Mar 1852
Sylvester Hohmann born in Seiferts, Germany on 28 Sep 1862
Ignatius Hohmann born in Germany on 1842

Also does anyone know where Prant or Prana Germany is??? Joseph Hohmann listed is birthplace as Prant or Prana Germany on his naturalization papers.

Hello Maryanne,
I think, your Hohmanns are from Brand near Fulda, Hilders or Fladungen,
Gersfeld, Hessisch Rh�n. Batten and Seiferts are also there.
