I am not quite new to the list, but have been inactive for a while. Does anyone have information on my two great problems:
Jacob SEIBERTZ, born about 1830 in Germany.
Married Maria KOOPMANN of Gelsenkirchen in St. Louis, MO
These are the only entries I have found in my research. We are Catholic, but I didn't think he came
from the Rheinland. Does anyone know if the name SEIBERTZ exists in Westfalen? A long time ago I thought I found something abut it in Essen, but I know I never got much out of that lead.

Gender: Male Marriage: 02 JAN 1757 Katholisch, Kell Eifel, Rheinland, Preussen
Johann Bernhard BERGHAUS, born Jan 23 1825 in Germany, married Clara Elizabeth SCHNIER of Greven, Westfalen Jan 25 1852 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He died July 1, 1897 in Newton county, Missouri.
I found him as Barney BARKHOUSE in the Cincinnati census. Beyond that I have found nothing,
