In my research I have come across the places Sehlde & Sillium. I have a
couple of questions.
1. I see that there are Catholic church records for Sillium that have been
microfilmed by the LDS. Is there a Protestant church in Sillium?
2. For the LDS for Sehlde I see: Germany, Preußen, Hannover, Sehlde (Kr.
Marienburg) & Germany, Preußen, Hannover, Sehlde (Kr. Gronau), what is the
difference? Which one would be located near Sillium & Groß & Klein Elbe?

1. There is a protestant church in Sillium, and there is a catholic church very close to Sillium at Wohldenberg
2. There is a village Sehlde near Sillium , which is Kreis Wolfenbuettel and another one with the same name in Krs Marienburg near Gronau, so the two you listed should be one and the same, both NOT near Sillium.
Which names do you do resaerch on there? I live close.

Dienstknecht in Kl. Elbe, *26.07.1832 Sehlde. Vater: Heinrich Schlüter
(Schlueter), Hslg, Mutter: Maria Katharina Brunke oo 1861, aufgeboten
03.+10.11.1861 Gr. Elbe + Sillium, Joh. Henriette Hedwig Hartmann.
*19.09.1837 Sillium. Vater: Christoph Hartmann, Tagelöhner (Tageloehner),
Mutter: Elis. Nehrig.
I would like to find out more information on the bride and her parents.
Also, if the bride has a brother Frederick/Friedrich/Fritz, b. abt. 1838, I
would like to have the birth information for him also.
Do you do research? Or do you know someone who does?

die Original evangl. KBs von Sillium befinden sich im Zentralarchiv in Nienstedt, sind dort aber m. Ws. nicht mehr einsehbar, wahrscheinlich auch unverfilmt.
Daher solltest Du den Pastor von Betheln anschreiben, der dieses Archiv jetzt verwaltet.

es gibt generell k e i n e n Unterschied zwischen den KBs von Sehlde (Marienburg und Gronau!).
