Searching for family of Henri Loer or Loehr, born approx. 1845. In 1874
Henri married Christine Brune, born approx. 1853. They had one child that
was born in Germany, Elisabeth Loer, born 1875. In April of 1880 they
arrived in the USA, moved to Red Wing, MN, where they lived throughout
their lives.
Henri & Christine's obituaries both state that they were from Hirschberg,
Westfalen.
I have not found anything about Henri Loer and I don't know how to begin a
search in Hirschberg. If anyone can help me with search help or with the
Loer family I would appreciate it.

Franz.
The child, Elizabeth, married 'unknown Steinkemper', they had
the following
children: Franz, Elizabeth (Wahle), Hildegarde, Maria
(Gillis).
