Searching for info on Preis & Jäger Surnames

I am looking for information on the Preis and Jäger families.

My Great Grandmother was Katarina Jäger, and was from Huta, Filipow,
Suwalki. Very close to the East Prussia Border on the Russia Side of it.
She was born in the early 1880s and emigrated to Westfield, MA, USA about
1900. She died in 1978. Her father was Frank (Franz?) Jäger, and her
mother was Ludwiga Kobuszkailis(?).

My Great Grandfather was August Preis, and I am not sure but I believe he
was from the Przerosl Area east of Huta. According to the LDS Website
there was a Preis Family in Przerosl, and I think that his cousin Paulina
Preis was from Rakowek, Przerosl, Suwalki. He was born in the early 1880s
and emigrated to Westfield, MA, USA about 1899. His father was Marcus(?)
Preis, and mother was Anna Fischer.

They were both Lutherans, and attended St Johns Church in Westfield, MA,
USA.

Some of the families that were from the same area on the Russia/East
Prussian Border, and emigrated to the same neighborhood in Westfield were
Muranka, Roulin, Lutat, Holzmann, & Enko - most were Lutherans, and some
were related by marriage. Looking are the LDS Website, most of these
families might be from the Marggrabowa, Darkehmen, or Goldap Areas. I see
a few Pruss's in those areas but not many Preis's.
