I think bob's trying to outdo one of my 'kissing cousins' who now has over
6,000 names on one of his trees.
The thing about finding the first wife's parents is to confirm the naming
pattern? I'm a descendent of the youngest child of a first wife - I once
noticed a tree of what was obviously a descendent of the children of the 2nd
wife (a widow with children when she married into my family). I was able to
correct birth/marriage details of her first marriage and supply some copy
parish records, which assisted in taking their line further back. I just
wish I could find descendents of the oldest son of the marriage, they surely
must have the family papers of Hermann Flemme b1830 'Hannover' (!) and his
father Heinrich Flemme.
