Dear Listers,
My husband's SCHNEIDER and related lines in Bobenheim am Berg is just one of my problems. There is a gap in the microfilm records that I ordered at the Family History Center here. The Civil Records for the area are not available on microfilm.
The JOST and related lines cannot be solved in Ebertsheim and Lautersheim microfilms also because of a similar gap. This is also a problem with the M�nchweiler and Dielkirchen films for the GRAF and related lines.
Why are there gaps between the years 1789-1826? Were there other records for which I can write to get over these brick walls? I realize that this was the time period that the French most likely were the governing force in the Pfalz. My husband's people were Evangelisch. Any help would be appreciated.
