I am looking for relatives from a Christian Schmidt and Anna Dorothea Mann.They married in 1828.
They lived in the Stalluponen area.They had a gril named Anna born 1829.
The boys name where:
Friedrich b: 1831 died 1840
August Johann b: 1834 married and left for Texas in 1884.
Carl B:1837
Matthes B:1840
Wilhelm B: 1843
Christian B: 1846 married and left for Texas in 1884
I am the G.Grandson of Christian Schmidt.
Some emailed me some personal info on the Schmidts.The info was from a relative living in German.
History books said the Germans had to leave for East Prussia after W.W.11.
There relatives of August Schmidt and Christian living here in Texas.We would like to hear from any relatives.
