I am going to try again to make a connection about the surname of Schmidt.
They lived in Mehlkehmen/Stalluponen in East Prussia.There was a connection made but my computer crashed due to a virus.I lost the emails I needed.Also there was peresonal info
mail to me.It said Christian Schmidt was in the Prussian Calvary in early 1800s'.This was
said to have come from a living relative some where in Germany.
