I am starting back up looking for relatives again.
I had traced them from about 1721 up to 1874.I can not found any thing on Schmidts after that.
They started with Christian Schmidt B 1721 and Married Anna Dorthea 1746

Anna Maria ,Anna Christina,Anna Rahens,Johann Peter,Christian Erdwin
Christian Erdwin B 1765 Married Elisbeth Naujokat in 1791
Kidswhere:
George,Charlotta,Johan Jost,Christian,Catharina,rosina
Christian B1794Married Anna Dorthea Mann in 1828
Kids where:
August married Christine Bredow they had kids and came to Texas
Christian married Charlotta Zabrowski When(?) They had kids and also came to Texas 1884.
This is my moms side.
I have been told we may have relatives still living in Germany.I think they left East Prussia after W.W.11
