Schmidts in East Prussia

Here are my SChmidts from East Prussia.I am back to 1721 and no records before that.
Working from 1746.

Christian Schmidt B.1721(?) married Anna Dorthea(no last name) in 1746.

   Christian B.1799 D.1847--------------Married Anna Dorthea Mann B.1803 in 1827
   Catharina B.1801 she died 1864
   Rosnia B.1802 Their kids

Now here is my question.
  I think the Schmidts came from Austria in the 1730s'.After the pleague.I can not found them.
   After W.W.II peolpe in East Prussia where pushed out to the west.
    Two brothers August and Christian came to Texas in 1880s'.The others stayed I think?
     In my reseach I was sent info on Christian Schmidt who died in 1847.It was sent in by a living relative some where in Germany.
     It came from SCHMIDT FAMILY RECORDS.Family History Library in Germany.Film number DZfG Leipzig AS 2303 S. 72/36.
     I have not been able to find this film here in the states or someone iver there to look at it for me.I would like to know the
     name of the living relatives.

Sorry they are not related.My Schmidts came to Texas and where farmers in the Kurten area.
