Schlierschied und Spabrucken

Hallo,
I receive the list regularly, and watch for people who are researching in the Spabrucken area.

I am interested to hear back from anyone who can give me some information on the village of Schlierschied and its inhabitants. What little I know of Schlierschied comes from another person I once corresponded with in Germany.

This is what I know of the place: "Schlierschied was a village near Spabruecken, that stood on a height. This village was in the triangle between Hergenfeld-Dalberg-Spabruecken. Described in the 74-page book, "1485 - 1985 St. Leonhards-Kapelle in Dalberg", are the partial histories of Wallhausen, Dalberg, Spabrucken, Argenschwang, and Hergenfeld. This book tells the histories of the "St. Leonhards-Kapelle in Dalberg (near Wallhausen), the churches of Wallhausen and Spabruecken."

I am researching the JECKEL/JACKEL familie, which came from Schlierschied and Spabrucken, and would like to find out more of Schlierschied in the early 1600's.

If you have information to share, please let me know.

Danke,
Joseph Yakel
