Would I be accurate in saying that:
Kauern to Kochendorf is about 13 kilometres
Kauern to Wansen is about 7 kilometres
I broadened my research to include the Czech Republic through Ancestry.com
and have found some interesting leads involving all three family names.
The death records show the Czech Republic while birth records search led me
back to Kauern through a number of on line family trees.
Given the distance would the church parishes be similar for Kauern to either
Kochendorf or Wansen. I do realize that there is more than one Kauern in
Ohlau, the other being Kauern Gut I believe.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
