Hello Milko and to all Listers,

I was finally able to have a look at the LSD film from the taufen Index from Fischhausen.
Milko I noticed while looking for others names there was a Schikowski, spelt as Shikowsky (maybe a mistake),It is the only one in all the index, maybe they were only passing through.I noted the info., as the taufen book was on the same film.

No 7 geb. 28-1-1863 Rosine Sophie SHIKOWSKY taufe 15-2-1863
vater Adam ,Instmann, Mutter Johanna geb.GEMP
the orts name I could not read, maybe He???dorf

Also there was a number of THIEL in the index may be a lead for you.

I have now found my ur-ur-grossmutter+vater does anybody know anything.

Thank you for this information. My Schikowski relatives stem from Eckersdorff and Jäskendorff. Could the village name you found be any of these?
