Schewe ancestry for Guido Schulz

Hello Mr. Guido Schulz.... My Schewe family lived in Berlin starting in 1836 as far as I can tell. They lived at 27 Unter Den Linden Strassa at least till the 1900's....A researcher was kind enough to due a look up for me from the old Berlin address book for my family ancestors....My great Grand father was August Schewe and he was in the Prussian guards till 1888 when he was challenged to a dual. His father rushed him out of the country to England and then to the states where he lived with his sister for several years. He headed to TORONTO Ontario Canada where he worked for a time and then he went on to Commando Ontario Canada. There he meet and married his wife Louisa Pilgar. They had several children my grandfather being one of them....What happened to My Grandfathers family after he left Prussia I do not know. I am trying to find out about any other relatives that have stayed there or moved else where. we may be related in some way...hope to here from you about your Schewe family....all the best Cindy from Canada

(WILHELM) AUGUST SCHEWE, ca. 1870 geboren wurde !

Da m��ten dann auch noch die Br�der; HEINRICH, HERMANN u. FRITZ verzeichnet
sein.

Hallo

Ich hatte versprochen, nach den mir bekannten Schewes zu schauen. Gestern
fand ich Friedrich Karl Schewe, Tapezierer und Polsterer in Bockhorn, geb.
11.5.1912 in Danzig, gestorben in Bockhorn 25.3.1977, beerdigt 29.3.1977.
Er hatte in Bockhorn auch eine Schwester.Beide waren 1945 nach Bockhorn
geflohen.
