Would somebody please look up for me in Germans to America if a Johann Paul Schallhorn * 21.09 1883 came to New York?
Also a Ferdinand Wilhelm Schallhorn * 15.101884
Or a Reinhard Otto Schallhorn *25.08.1877
These 3 boys are brothers and Sons of Johann Schallhorn * 12.06.1844 and Auguste Held *bet.1840-1857.
My father always spoke of an uncle who came to America to earn enough money to be able to buy a farm at home. I would imagine he would have to be son # 2 or # 3 as the oldest had the prospect of inheriting the farm at home. This uncle never did come home again.

I don't have the CD "Germans to America" but I took a look at Ancestry.com.
Today is the last day of free access of the immigration files.
There is nothing to find about your three Schallhorns. What a pitty.

I just checked the immigration lists from "ancestry.com"
- also using different wildcards for the names you are
looking for (Schallh* / Schalh* / Schellh* / Schelh* etc.).
The closests I got were these two persons:
- Paul SCHALLHORN from Grussow
born about 1882
arriving in New York in November 1904
- Willi SCHALLHORN from Ossowke
shoemaker
born about 1884
arriving in New York in October 1906
