Good morning, Saxon "cousins" and happy Thanksgiving day!
I suppose that we are celebrating today the bounty for which our immigrant
ancestors had hoped. (I say that after visiting Cloppenburg Museum last
year, and finding the huerling house)
In case someone really, really wants these books, and didn't get the first
offer (free), I found and ordered USED copies on www.amazon.com yesterday.
With shipping, they run about $5.50 each. Only volumes 2 & 3 show up on a
search of Saxon and Swan (a fluke of the system) But when I searched on
www.bookfinder.com, it took me right back to Amazon for Vol. 1. I am
fascinated by these books, and spent a lot of time there yesterday reading
excerpts.
