Still trying to locate Johannes Andreas (Jean Andre in French), born c. 1757
(death certificate since found and stated that he was 53 in 1810 (Died in
Quebec, Canada)
Marriage certificate in Canada states he is from Calbe, Duchy of Magdeburg,
Germany..His parents were Christian Sasse and Catherine Sporleder.
Belonged to the Brunswick troops, von Specht regiment, lieb company during
the American Revolution in 1783-1786.
There seems to be some question on whether or not he was already in the New
World and then joined the army??
Would love to find more about his parents, siblings and ancestors!
