I sincerely believe that the Carl Paul Fredrich Sahs (ships carpenter) born 9/13/1873 is probobly my great grandfather.
My grandfather Edmund C.H. Sahs last address (1924) was listed as Am Pool 2, Bergedorf per emmigration passenger list.
He was born in 1901..so the birth of his father known to me as Carl Paul Fredrich Sahs in 1873 is logical.
So I must write the state archive for Carl Paul info and the Standesamt Hamburg-Bergedorf for birth certificate for Edmund?
