If you have Dr. Oetker products available there, they make a mix for it.
Look in the pudding section. This is from my German Cook book.
1/2 Liter favourite syrup lightly diluted with water
Sugar to your taste
40 grams corn starch
6 tablespoons water.On medium heat
Bring juice and sugar to boil, add cornstarch mixes with water
stir and continue cooking on low heat for a minute or so. Pour into
individual dishes rinsed with cold water or a form for pudding if you wish.
Let chill. serve with a vanilla sauce. I don't have the recipe for that
but
