Dear Jeffrey,
I have many relatives from the area of Suttrop and Kallenhardt.
I can't look them up right now but will work on it tonight. The
main family name is Appelbaum but also Risse, Humpert, and a
few others.
Appelbaum's settled in St. Louis and that is where I was born.
We still have a reunion every two years. Our branch is Catholic
but there is also an early Jewish family by the same name.
